I couldn't remember my login and finally I figured out how to associate this blog with a new one

Performer and Teacher, Choreographer Specializing in Egyptian Folkloric and Cabaret Dances.Farhana has been performing for 30 years. Originally from Okla, where she taught and had her own troupe, Farhana's Caravan Dancers, she relocated to the Los Angeles Area where she has performed for the last 22 years.She was a member of a local folkloric troupe, and was the featured dancer at several Greek and Arabic restaurants, as well as winning 1st. runner up-in several contests.She hosts her own web site, dances and performs in the California area and coaches privately in the Egyptian Cabaret and Folkloric style as well as Dombec, Egyptian Tamborine technique and Finger Cymbals. She recently opened a new studio "Ahlan Cairo Nights studio" named after beloved friends Dee Dee and Ahmed's yearly event in Dallas Texas.

I have decided that I will not have a website again, I will simply blog and invite others to come here and post information or ask about classes.

I haven't danced in a while, been working through some issues, but have begun to start choreographing again. I found out that I need to keep moving, so here goes, hope to see some of my old friends around and do some fun things..will start back slowly, going to dance at a party this coming weekend, I have picked a moderate beledi that I saw on a Raqia tape, danced to by BEBA,
of Reda troupe fame, she had some cute moves, and I used a few, but mostly my own inspiration, as usual...created a Saudi for Christina last weekend and a meleya leff for Cyndy this weekend, so I am trying to get back to where I was....Pray for me..later
