The Beginning of a dancer

Performer and Teacher, Choreographer Specializing in Egyptian Folkloric and Cabaret Dances.Farhana has been performing for 30 years. Originally from Okla, where she taught and had her own troupe, Farhana's Caravan Dancers, she relocated to the Los Angeles Area where she has performed for the last 22 years.She was a member of a local folkloric troupe, and was the featured dancer at several Greek and Arabic restaurants, as well as winning 1st. runner up-in several contests.She hosts her own web site, dances and performs in the California area and coaches privately in the Egyptian Cabaret and Folkloric style as well as Dombec, Egyptian Tamborine technique and Finger Cymbals. She recently opened a new studio "Ahlan Cairo Nights studio" named after beloved friends Dee Dee and Ahmed's yearly event in Dallas Texas.
